Here’s where you find what we are up to!
We do blogposts, videos and Instagram updates to share our experiences on our around the world sailing trip. We like to create content which incorporates a piece of information about some of the environmental, economic or social challenges that we meet a long the way, but often times we also like to just be silly and have fun making a post or a video and share it with you guys.
Latest Blogposts
Stories and thoughts from our trip around the world. Since the beginning we have wanted to make more blogposts, where we can describe some of our experiences in a more thoughtful way, but we don’t always come around to do so. We aim to do a blogpost every 2 weeks, but don’t be upset at us if this does not happen :-).
Our blogposts is also where you can find more technical descriptions about some of the problems we have solved on the boat.

Getting Tengah ready for a Circumnavigation
Getting Tengah ready for a Circumnavigation 30th June 2018 Not fully visible from this video, but our time in La Linea preparing Tengah for a circumnavigation was actually very stressful. We found it difficult to deal with the boatyard and we were surprised about the...
So How’s boatownership? Hate the Boatyard yet?
The time we spend preparing in Alcaidesa Marina reminded us that every good thing requires a bit (or a lot) of sacrifice and a bit (or a lot) of suffering. We want to present the whole story, not just the pretty sunset shots. This is the story of that process.
Even with many of the boatyard staff working on the yacht, we worked 70-80 hour weeks cleaning/prepping and checking over their work. The nature of boats is that the ocean is slowly destroying the yacht and you’re just trying to stay ahead of it. The authors of the Voyager’s Handbook, former McKinsey consultants without money issues, who have been circumnavigating for over a decade, built their second boat with no refrigeration and no running water. Their reason: less stuff to break. We went the other way and chose a boat with more conveniences than our apartments back in Stockholm. Nearly all of those items have had issues in one way or another.
Big news! We’ve bought our sailboat. Next step: Sail around the World
I’ve just taken a huge step forward to begin the next and possibly biggest adventure of my life: I’ve bought a boat, which I’ve named SV Tengah after..

Latest Youtube Videos
We do have a Youtube channel, and we do make videos about our trip, but we would not really call ourselves Youtube vloggers. We like to create fun and entertaining videos which hopefully are enjoyable for you to watch. We often try to incorporate a piece of information about some of the environmental, economic or social challenges that we meet a long the way. We don’t do it to make money from our videos, so you will never find commercials or affiliated links in our videos. This allows us to make videos whenever it suits us or when we feel inspired to do so, therefore we cannot promise you new videos on any regular basis.
Sit back and enjoy!
