During our travels to find more sustainable solutions, we often come across some interesting organizations/projects which support our common goal of saving our planet and the people who live on it. It is important for us to mention that we are not economically benefiting from highlighting these organizations, we simply believe they serve a good cause and deserve as much attention as they can get.

We met Nicolle Trudeau in Bequia, where her and her husband organises an awesome pub-crawl visiting local bars around Bequia. But Nicolle also studies and is dedicated to preventing social violience in Bequia, and has therefore founded the WeChoose SVG organisation. The organisation teaches females to to respect themselves and others and encourages the majority of men who sees this as a problem to project and represent positive leadership.
JT Kitesurfing School deserves a spot here, because when we asked them if he could help us transport a lot of plastic we and some other cruisers had picked up at a secluded island (Frigate Island) in the Grenadines, they did not hesitate to send a boat and his crew right away. We are grateful when our beach clean-ups are supported by local businesses!
Is insect production the answer to global food crisis and climate-changing carbon emissions? Not necessarily so, but it is definitely a much more sustainable protein source than conventional meat production. In fact, in order to gain a kilo of food, mealworms have to eat about two kilos of feed, while a cow has to eat close to 25 kilos.
