Where is Tengah going?

Ehm, around the world, right? smile

To maximize the energy we get from the wind (and to have as many downwind passages as possible) we follow the tradewind sailing routes.

We sailed in the Mediterranean Sea from May to November 2018 and crossed the Atlantic Ocean from the Canaries in December 2018. We will be in the Caribbean Sea (Windward Islands) January – June 2019 and head up to US East Coast when there is hurricane season in the Caribbean. November 2019 we will head back to the Caribbean Sea and sail our way West to be able to go through the Panama Canal around March 2020. From there we either sail towards Galapagos or Easter Island (not yet decided) towards the South Pacafic and New Zealand in 2020. In 2021 we plan to sail through the Western part of the South Pacific and 2022 South East Asia, and in 2023 the Indiean Ocean, and around Africa untill we see Europe (or Brasil haha) again 5-6 years from the start. Easy peasy cool

2018 – Mediterranean Sea + Atlantic Crossing

2019 – Caribbean Windward Islands + Bahamas + US East Coast

2020 – Caribbean Sea + Panama Channel + South Pacific (East) + New Zealand

2021 – New Zealand + South Pacific (West) + South East Asia (East)

2022 – South East Asia

2023 – Indian Ocean + Madagaskar + Southern tip of Africa + Atlantic Crossing
